    Marine Heroes Sustainable Fishing Game

    Two Oceans Aquarium - 2016

Our team of serious game developers created the I&J Marine Heroes Adventure multitouch interactive table game to teaches both children and adults about responsible fishing practices.

  • Marine Heroes Sustainable Fishing Game

Teaching the very adult concepts of sustainable fishing and responsible purchasing decisions to a 7-year-old is a pretty daunting brief! Our team of serious game developers rose to the challenge, however, and conceptualised and created the I&J Marine Heroes Adventure multitouch interactive table game to do just that.

The multitouch table, which forms part of an exhibit at the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town, South Africa, hosts the game which demonstrates concepts like quotas, ring fencing and how deep water hake fishing has evolved to be more sustainable. The experience is divided into mini-games that make the content accessible and memorable to players of all ages.
And while our serious games developers team aimed the content at children, teens and adults alike also enjoy the quick and fun gameplay tasks on the multitouch table that educate players on how making the right choices can positively influence the marine environment.
