  • Energy Planner Game

Our team of educational game developers created the Eskom Energy Planner Game to educate players on different power generation technologies in an entertaining way.

The game allows the player to take custody of a virtual city’s power plan and seek a balance between the most efficient technologies currently available and the most environmentally friendly ones. Players must also consider the varying costs of production and face the challenge of maintaining an economically viable mix of these elements.

The player also needs to build the different power plants around the city in the most appropriate areas to minimise the impact on the residents and maximise the efficiency of the relevant plant.
Our serious games design experts included the ‘how am I doing’ tab allows the player to view and assess their progress and the effectiveness of their chosen strategies.

This Eskom Energy Planner game can be customised to operate on several hardware interfaces from iPad to interactive touch walls and multitouch tables and can include company logo and colours. If you’re interested in creating something similar for your business or industry, get in touch!
